What a Blast!

Our 1st DCA Show.

We took our  2008 show, "Tent Meeting Revival", on the road to  the Brass Hysteria Show in Denton, TX.  This was a Drum Corps Associates sanctioned event hosted by Frontier Drum & Bugle Corps of Dallas, TX.

We "road tripped" to Denton, TX which is just North of Ft. Worth, TX on Friday June 27th. On Saturday June 28th, we  rehearsed at Denton Ryan High School under some trees.  The actual performance time was to be 7pm but was bumped back to 8pm due to thunder storms and lightening.  The list included several Corps in various stages of development who  performed as exhibition Corps*.  The two actual competing Corps were Frontier and Gulf Coast Sound.

We were first up as this was our first performance at a Drum Corps Show.

With the submission of our 501(C)3 packet to the IRS, we are elligeable to join Drum Corps Associates.  We do need to increase our performing membership to at least 35 to qualify to join the circuit and compete in 2010.
